  • A Strata Inspection Report will provide you with information about the property and the Strata Plan that you are considering buying.

    Remember that you are not only purchasing a Unit, Townhouse, Duplex or Villa, you are also buying into a Strata Scheme that has rules & regulations that govern living in that Strata Complex. These rules may influence how you can use and enjoy your property.

    Some properties may have major work planned or Building Defects that they are trying to have rectified by the Builder, internal conflicts between owners or tenants, on-going litigation or financial issues…These and many other issues can affect not only the financial viability of the Strata Plan but also your peaceful enjoyment of your new home, your ability to attract quality tenants and even your purchase price and purchase decision…

  • Your Strata Inspection Report will usually be available on the day of the Strata Records Inspection or at least within 24 hours. Strata Records Inspections can usually be arranged within 24-48 hours of making a booking depending on the availability of the Strata Managers Office.

  • Our Strata Inspectors make themselves available to answer any questions you may have either by telephone or e-mail. Most of our Inspectors understand that purchasing a property can be a stressful experience and also appreciate that buying a new home or investment is not necessarily a 9-5 Monday to Friday process Most make themselves available after hours and on weekends to answer your questions and assist you in any way that they can.

  • SSR Strata Inspectors are carefully selected, comprehensively trained and carry Professional Indemnity Insurance. Many of our Inspectors have previous experience in Strata Management which provides expertise and insights along with an insiders knowledge of “the tricks of the trade”…

  • Yes, you can purchase any pre-existing report listed on this site. However we recommend that any report that is over 1 month old should be revisited and the records re-inspected. Often situations change and other records not previously made available are added to the Strata Managers files. Strata Inspection Reports are also tailored to an individual Lot within the Strata Plan so a report ordered for a different Lot within that plan will provide general information only.

  • No, our Strata Records Inspections are conducted either in the offices of the Strata Manager, increasingly via a Remote Log-In procedure or in the case of Self Managed Strata Plans, the residence of the Secretary or Treasurer. Company Title records are often held at the offices of the Companies accountant.

  • Southside Strata Reports can provide Strata Inspection Services covering all of Metropolitan Sydney, Wollongong and the Central Coast. We are usually able to arrange access to Strata Records covering the rest of NSW upon request.

  • We accept payment via Pay Pal, Visa, Mastercard or Direct Deposit. Payment is required either at the time of booking or by arrangement. No report can be released until payment has been confirmed.
